CHRM College Empowers Future Leaders Through Intensive Internship & Mentorship Masterclass Graduation

On Friday, 9th August 2025, the College of Human Resource Management proudly celebrated the culmination of an impactful and transformative five-day journey as it officially graduated the participants of the Internship & Mentorship Masterclass. This event marked the successful completion of a program that ran from 4th to 8th August, bringing together a group of eager young professionals, students, and human resource practitioners.

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to be mentored by a panel of experts who generously shared their insights and industry knowledge. The facilitators included professionals such as Kawitha Mbui, Christopher King’ori, Peter Waithaka, Felix Sanya, Dr. Samuel Murage, Emily Gideon, CHRP Eunice Mutiso, G.N. Kariuki, and Godrick Arthur Itur. These facilitators did not merely present theory but engaged with participants in hands-on sessions designed to provide practical skills and personalized mentorship adaptable to various career paths.

The curriculum was designed to address several critical areas that are essential for professional development. Among the key subjects covered were CV Writing and Digital Print Management, where attendees learned to craft compelling resumes and manage their digital profiles effectively. “Mentorship to Drive Your Career” sessions inspired participants to seek and utilize mentorship in navigating their own career trajectories. Financial Management and Entrepreneurship Skills equipped them with fundamental knowledge on managing finances and exploring business opportunities. Other topics included Goal Setting for Young Professionals, Effective Communication and Public Speaking, Mental Health, Wellness and Image Management, Emotional Intelligence for Professionals, Interviewing Skills, and Personal Branding.

Each session was interactive, practical, and relevant, ensuring that the learning extended beyond the classroom to real-world application. The mentorship provided during the masterclass helped participants build confidence and skill sets that would empower them to step into the job market or their chosen professional fields.

The graduation ceremony itself was a proud and inspiring event attended by such as CHRP Margaret K. Kinyanjui, MIHRM MKIM, guest speaker Godrick Arthur Itur, Linet Chedeye, Timothy Maina, and RoyBrian Nyaga. Their presence highlighted the significance of this program and underscored CHRM College’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of competitive, well-prepared professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the workforce and economy.
